There are three aspects of our Christian lives that we must experience, in order to enjoy all that Christ died on the cross for us to enjoy. These men represent these aspects. There is the promise that it is there for us. There is the driving out of the enemies from our blessings. And there is the enjoyment of it afterwards for ourselves.
