He has been working to obstruct the path of righteousness now for a long time. Every single purpose that is formed in your own strength is like writing in the sand at the seashore. In a short while, the writing in the sand will be swept away by the incoming tide. Your victory does not rest in your own abilities or possessions but rather, in the full submission to God’s purposes.
