In this sermon Propping Up A Defeated Devil, through death Jesus destroyed the devil who had the power of death. That ark stands for the fact that a sacrifice was offered to God. The blood was shed to pay for the price of sin. This atonement blood was sprinkled on that ark. Taking that ark and putting it in Dagon’s temple is a perfect picture of Jesus who was that sacrifice and was slain and put into the grave.
