In this sermon, we will be introduced to the character of Balaam. We are reminded how he was backslidden, and invited the enemies into his home. He appeared to be faithful on the outside, but on the inside, his heart was deceitful.  From this passage, we learn God may have given us permission to do something. That doesn't mean we are blessed. We are permitted but not blessed.
