Pentecost - What's That? All across America, churches of many denominations are celebrating Pentecost Sunday. The principle, purpose and precept of Pentecost has little to do with the way we praise! It has little to do with the fact that we clap or lift our hands. Pentecost was more important than any celebrated day around the world. It gathered into itself the purpose and plan of God in the creation of man. The purpose of the birth, the life, the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ was so that the world could have a Pentecost.
