In this sermon Meditating in His Word, we read in Isaiah, the promises of God to those who meditate in His Law. The Blessed Man is one who has learned that “as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”. To meditate in God's word, is to discourse with ourselves concerning the great things contained in it. Also, with close application of mind and fixedness of thought. Until we be suitably affected with those things, and experience the flavor and power of them in our hearts.”
