The enemies get harder, and the levels become more complex. Eventually, you have to a overcome a new stronger enemy. To do that, you level up. Life is a lot like a video game. As you start off in life, things are fairly easy, there are not many demands placed on you. As you progress through life, it gets tougher, you start taking on responsibility. The world teaches us that we must conform to the standards of everyone else. As society continues to move away from God, they move further away from us as well. We try to stand up to these forces on our own, we're not strong enough, we don't have enough energy. We must level up
