In this lesson, Golden Faith and Fool's Gold, there is a faith that Peter is speaking about that moves God to keep us safe by His supernatural power. The golden faith is trusting in God and nothing else to take them to heaven one day. Golden faith will last through all the trials and hard times. But if you have fools' gold faith, then that faith cannot take it through the trials, and it burns away in the heat. It is fool's gold because it isn't really faith at all, but unbelief.
