This lesson teaches us about God's Purpose to Have a Bride and Produce Fruit. Adam knew Eve and she bore Cain, and we know what Cain turned out to be. But we produce fruit for God. The two trees in the Garden show this picture. The Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and  Evil. One is what God wanted, but the other looked very religious. Concentration upon what is  good and evil actually engenders judgmentalism amongst people. Instead of making ourselves reach through our fleshly efforts to gain something spiritual, we must wait after asking God, in faith, to work.
