This sermon Drive and Go Forward, focuses on the conduct of one woman during the time of the prophet Elisha. In the Scriptures, she is simply referred to as a  great woman. She was great by God’s standards. She was a devoted mother and religious woman who was praised by her family for her benevolence and mission work. And by the actions of this Shunemite woman, we learn a most powerful lesson in driving. Pressing on is the ability to keep on believing the truth in spite of evidence to the contrary. It is the ability to stand your ground in your in spite of all the things that attempt to move you. Faith will drive you to the end of your journey. The objective of faith is to finish the course. Faith drives forward with a glorious end in sight. It is to save life, to relieve stress, to refill the empty vessel and to conquer the forces of defeat. Faith drives forward in obedience onward and upward. It matters not the treachery of the journey.
