In this lesson we learn about Comatose Christianity. If you look carefully at many believers' lives, you will see the only thing different is that they go to church. There might be little things that really do not amount to anything that is different. But when it comes to the important things in life, like peace of mind, and strength in the hard times, most are no different than the people in the world. They have no God to hold on to. 

We must turn from dead works and have faith towards God. Do not have faith in something you do in order to believe you will get power from God. Dead works are just that, dead. Put faith in someone that is alive. Have faith towards God. People who have faith in deeds, never talk to God Himself. They hope God is watching them do things.

It is important to have a relationship with God. Jesus spoke of being the vine and us being the branches. We attach to Him, and we find life pumping into us. How do we do this? What does it mean to be in the vine? Get attached to Jesus. Start with baptism into His death. Believe He died as you. You are in union with Him. You live by the faith of the Son of God.

I do not believe we need to settle with being more on fire or in love for Jesus in our first few years than ever before. That is Comatose Christianity settling in. True love that is initiated with a desire to grow in love for Him.True love that is the result of finding the right track God set for us in starting a real relationship with God.
