In this sermon Christmas is for Children, Perhaps this idea received its start because the traditional Christmas story from the Bible focuses on Christ as a baby and as a little child. Just think of the many times you've heard a statement like this, "Isn't Christmas wonderful for the children? We love to watch their eyes as they open a special gift. It is for the children because children understand spiritual truths, and in fact, they have something to teach us. Yes, It's for the children. Christ our Lord came as a child? Was he not worshipped and praised by little children? Jesus loves children so much that he offers them the best gift anyone could ever receive – the gift of the Holy Ghost. It's for children because they grasp spiritual truths more quickly than most adults.
