The yoke of Jesus is kind because the bearing of it brings us rest. The rest Jesus offers is not rest from the yoke, but rest under the yoke. The yoke is easy because it fits. Some are suffering from sour wounds of the conscience and wounds of the heart. You’ve been wearing a yoke that doesn’t fit.
