In this sermon A Partaker of the Pertinence, God loves us just the way we are, but he will not be content to leave us that way. He wants us to be just like Him. You don’t need to go looking any other place, whatever you need you will find it in Jesus!

God loves to bless his people, but there is some things that he wants us to partake of instead of partaking of his blessings all of the time.

In order for us to be like him, we must take upon his attributes and characteristics. We must become partakers of the pertinence! God longs for us to partake of his blood because it cleanses, purges, washes away our sins. His feet so that we will go where God would have us go. God wants us to partake in His Ears so that we will hear refuse to hear what is not pleasing to God. Our  tongue so that we will speak the things that God would have us speak. Our mind so that we could think about situations like he would think about them. We need the mind of God, Witnessing, Singing, Preaching, in everything that we do. God wants us to partake in his eyes so that we will see things as God sees them. Our heart so that we would love people as God loves people.

How are we going to win our city, if we don’t first love our city? We must take on these attributes and characteristics of God!
